The Society of Master Impressionists
…...shall have as its mission to display, promote, exhibit and publicize the style of the art known as Impressionism in any of the recognized mediums (oil, pastel and/or watercolor*, bronze, clay and terra cotta) for the purpose of promoting, exhibiting, teaching and rewarding of these values in impressionism for the purpose of enjoyment of viewers, buyers and collectors of fine art.
SMI is here to provide the forum in which you can display your art in regional and national competitions. Through our newsletters we will inform you about current art events and future exhibitions throughout the country. SMI provides the network of fellow artists and experienced professionals that can assist you in your quest for artistic excellence. In addition, we will continue to support the educational process through scholarships, workshops and exhibitions of art from today’s master impressionists.
Subscriptions are open to all Impressionist artists and any who would like to support Impressionism.
